Dear 8th Grade Students and Families,
You’re invited to our Macon Early College Informational Night on Thursday, December 4th, from 6:00–7:00 PM in the Macon Middle School Library.
This will be an opportunity for you to learn more about MEC and what makes our school unique. During the session, we’ll share information about our programs, what student life is like, and how the application process works. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions and talk with our staff.
If your student is looking for a supportive, challenging learning environment that prepares them for college and their future, we hope you’ll join us.

Bus 159 will begin running afternoons only starting tomorrow. Bus 28 will run on a limited schedule this week. Tuesday and Friday it will morning and afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday it will run in the mornings, but not in the afternoons.

Bus Update.
Bus 23 and bus 28 will run in the mornings and afternoon. Unfortunately, bus 34 and 25 will only run in the afternoons and bus161 and 31 will only run in the mornings. We will keep you updated if anything changes.

Good Evening! At this time, the following buses are either not running or running on a limited basis. Bus 34, bus 25 and bus 23 are only running in the afternoons. Bus 161 and bus 31(formerly 32) are only running in the mornings. Bus 28, 163 and 160 are not running in the morning or afternoons. We will keep you informed of any changes. MMS Tennis Team practice will Start on August 11th from 3:00pm until 4:30 pm in the MMS gym for the Week of August 11th, Monday thru Thursday. Bring your rackets. Yearbooks will be distributed at the end of next week. If you still need to buy one, go online to Jostens.com or bring check or exact change to Mrs. Geren. The cost in person is $48.
Picture Day is coming to MMS on April 15. Students should have brought home an informational flyer. If they want their picture taken, they must bring the completed flyer back to school on April 15, along with the exact payment. Or they can order it at mylifetouch.com; the picture day ID is EVTNMGQS3. If students have lost the flyer, extras are in the front office.

Mrs. Cope and Mrs. Bryson's students are learning about growing food. The class enjoys watching their tomato plants grow and recently planted cucumber seeds.
