Students will participate by grade level in Holiday activities such as a concert, storytelling and cookie decorating. Pre K and Kindergarten activities will take place from 5:30-6:30.
1st and 2nd grade activities are from 6:00-7:00 and 3rd and 4th grade activities are from 6:30-7:45. See you there!

Good evening, please make plans to attend our Holiday Showcase on Tuesday, December 17th. Good evening, just a reminder that students will not have school next week. November 25th and 26th are Teacher Workdays and the 27th through the 29th school is closed for Thanksgiving break. We hope you enjoy this time with your family, and we will resume school on Monday, December 2nd.

After several weeks of intense practice and preparation, Zoe participated in the NC Elementary Honors Chorus in Winston-Salem last weekend. She was selected last month out of close to a thousand who auditioned to be in the top 160ish 4th-6th graders in the state! Great honor for SME to have a student selected for this honor. :-) She is among the first ever in Macon County to picked for such an honor! Congratulations!!

Attention Kindergarten Parents, tomorrow at 10:00 am , the first Panther Legacy will take place at FHS. FHS Seniors will present a token item to every kindergarten student in the county as a symbol of passing down the Panther Pride. Kindergarten parents are welcome to attend. The event will start at 10 am . Parents are asked to park in the lower practice field if possible off Phillip Street. Parents will sit on the visitor side of the field. It should be a wonderful event. Have a great evening.
