Good evening, just a reminder this week is Red Ribbon Week at South Macon. Red Ribbon Week is a week where we unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Today was Mismatch Monday, dress tacky, wacky, or inside out! Tuesday is Team-Up Tuesday, come in your jersey or show off your favorite team! Wednesday is Wildcat Wednesday, dress in blue or Wildcat attire! Thursday is Trick 'r' Treat Thursday, come dressed in your costume or as your favorite character - school-appropriate! Friday is Flip-It Friday, students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students!
Also, just a reminder this Wednesday students will be dismissed early due to a Mandatory Professional Development Day for all Staff members. Car riders will be dismissed at 11:00 am and Last bus will dismiss around 11:45 am. Have a wonderful evening.

It's Awards Day #1 at South Macon! Today our First Graders will be recognized at 9:00, our Second Graders at 10:00, and our Third Graders at 11:00! It's going to be a great day in the Wildcat Neighborhood!

What a busy day for our Wildcats! We sent our Special Olympians off with a parade, had Kona Ice for Friendship Day from our Special Friends, AND had Gravy with Grandparents! 💙
We are so thankful for all the grandparents who came out this morning to have "gravy" with their grandchildren! It was such a special time. If any grandparent missed it, we will do it again tomorrow! Thank you for investing in our Wildcats!

Mrs. Rogers 2nd Grade class recently completed Biography Bottle projects. Each student picked a biography from the school library. They researched and wrote the biographies at school. At home, they took a bottle and had it resemble the person they selected.
Some chosen were: George Washington, Albert Einstein, Rosa Parks, Helen Keller, Michael Jordan, Taylor Swift, Neil Armstrong, George Lucas and many more!
They enjoyed learning new facts about the person they chose and how they have made an impact on the world and persevered through personal challenges.
These projects along with their writings are on display in the school library for all to enjoy.
